A new progressive music project, Prophetic Warning is a collaborative music endeavor featuring members of the progressive rock bands Blind Fury, Prototype and Never Awake. This trio of players has said the best way to describe “Dancing On A Razor Blade” that it’s a Musical Journey.

Kelly Burbank and Alex McDonald immediately set the albums intensity level to explosive with the opening riffs of Metal Beast, with Alex’s thunderous toms and ferocious drum sound united with Kelly’s 16th note bass triplets. Vocalist Dwight Cliff showcases his powerful voice throughout these tracks by singing great melodies along with his nonstop guitar assault. The band is also not one to shy away from harmonies on their vocals through out the album, with stand outs in Hopeless, Dancing On A Razor Blade and can’t Hold Me Back now.

Kelly Burbank is the visionary of this recording and his remarkably broad range of influences that he embraces culminates into a solid collection of driving far-reaching tracks. His bass playing provides a thick growl sitting beneath Alex’s kicks bringing forth the foundation of Prophetic Warning’s punchy bottom end.

Alex McDonald has talent beyond his years and it is his unique viewpoint that provides some of the most poignant facets of Prophetic Warning’s sound. His drumming techniques are truly a force to be reckoned with. Alex is one of the hardest working musicians you will ever meet. Handling the drumming responsibilities for Never Awake, Tyranny of Hours and a new death metal project called: Senescence.

Dwight Cliff brings so much to the writing, vocals, playing, engineering and producing table that plays such a big part in defining the unique sound of this project. His powerful “One of a Kind” guitar tones and blistering guitar solos and edgy cutting vocals skillfully sew together the musical adventure that is Prophetic Warning.
